This NAIDOC Week, support remote communities by recycling for Purple House

By Carol Fung

Donate your Crunch credits to Purple House this NAIDOC Week to get remote Indigenous dialysis patients home on country with family.

Purple House is an award-winning non-profit Indigenous health service supporting remote communities across the Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia.

Now operating 19 remote clinics and a mobile dialysis unit called the Purple Truck, Purple House is  getting patients back home so that families and culture can remain strong.

Run from its headquarters in a suburban house in Alice Springs, Purple House’s mission is ‘Making all our families well’. They now offer remote dialysis, social support, aged-care and NDIS services, and run a bush medicine social enterprise called Bush Balm

We will ensure that Walytja (family), Tjukurrpa (dreaming) Ngurra (country) and Kuunyi (compassion) are central to all that we do and say.

How it works.
