Looking for a convenient way to recycle bottles and cans in Sydney? Under NSW’s Return and Earn scheme, Envirobank’s 100% Clean Recycling Pickup Service makes getting your 10¢ refunds easy.
Book a pickup for your bottles, cans and cartons – and get paid for every eligible container returned. Skip the queues and the hassle. Whether you’re a household, business, school or club, we’ll pick up and pay you for it.
How it works
1. Sign up
Create a free Envirobank account. If you’d like to make a booking for a different location, simply change the postcode in your Account Details.
2. Collect containers
Fill Orange bags or cardboard boxes with a minimum of 250 eligible containers. Look for the 10¢ symbol on the container label.
3. Book a pickup
Log in to your Envirobank account, select a collection date and leave instructions for our team. We’ll pick up and credit your Envirobank account.

What’s the pricing?
Get paid for recycling
For every 10¢ refundable container, we deduct a small fee of 3¢ per container to cover logistics and provide you with the best service possible. That means you’ll receive 7¢ per container.
Our Pickup Service is ideal for households and businesses that are pressed for time and have volumes ranging from 250 to 5,000 containers per pickup.

What can I recycle?
Check for a 10¢ refund symbol
Bottles and cans displaying a 10¢ refund symbol are eligible for recycling. They need to be liquid-free, uncrushed and have the barcode intact. Wine, spirits, milk and cordial bottles aren’t accepted under NSW’s Return and Earn scheme. Lids can stay on – they’ll be recycled too.
