Our Response to COVID-19
For up-to-date announcements from the Envirobank team, or to check on the status of our services, please visit envirobank.com.au/status.
I’d like to give you an update on the Envirobank response to COVID-19.
Most importantly, you’ll be pleased to hear that you can still recycle your bottles and cans by using our Drop’n’Go services at our pods, or by dropping off your bags at our depots.
Our drivers will stock the Drop’n’Go pods with QR code stickers every day, so you don’t need to worry if you can’t get hold of any orange Envirobank bags. Just pop a sticker on your own durable bag and register your drop-off in Crunch.
Orange bags are still available at Envirobank depots, but there’s a limit of 10 bags per customer, so please show your Crunch account number or your Scheme ID when picking up empty bags from a depot.
We’ve also made it easier to cash out via Scheme ID when you use our Drop’n’Go service. If you’d like us to transfer your refund to a Scheme ID account, just let us know when registering your drop-off in Crunch.
If you’re visiting our depots, please note that as the bank cash reserves may be affected by the banks quarantining physical dollars as a precautionary step, we ask you for your patience if there is no cash available and suggest that you opt for a digital payment instead.
While the overall risk in Australia of contracting COVID-19 in the community remains low, the health and safety of our customers and all our teams are very important to us. We’re taking additional steps to maintain a safe environment at all our locations and follow the guidance of the Department of Health and the World Health Organisation.
Rest assured that our customer service team remains committed to delivering responsive support to you during the time of uncertainty.
We recommend that you stay informed via legitimate news sources and protect yourself and others by following the official advice of the Department of Health.
Please take care of yourself and your loved ones and let us know if you have any concerns or if there is anything we can do to help.
