Have you been thinking about using one of our Drop’n’Go PODs but you’re just not sure how it all works? Well, buckle up because we have a few exciting new things to share that makes recycling all that more convenient for you.

If you haven’t already heard you can now print your own bag labels from your Crunch account! Still don’t know what we’re talking about? Then read on!

So how does this Drop’n’Go thing work?

Firstly, you must sign up for Crunch to use the Drop’n’Go service. Don’t worry, it’s free to sign up! Start collecting your eligible containers and pack them into either an Envirobank orange bag or you can use your own durable bags. We recommend using durable garden bags or woven tidy bags tied tightly and taped shut tightly. All these options are quite sturdy, less likely to rip during transport and can be purchased at Coles or various hardware stores. We do not recommend using regular plastic kitchen bags, as they can easily split.

You will need to register your drop-off in Crunch when you visit a Drop’n’Go location, each bag must have a valid Drop’n’Go label firmly attached. The labels also allow us to credit your account when we process your bags and count your eligible containers. Just think of it as registered post for recycling!

Ready to Drop’n’Go? It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Step 1. Pack your eligible containers into Envirobank’s orange collection bags or your own durable bags (Maximum 50 containers per bag). Make sure each bag has a Drop’n’Go label firmly attached, is securely tied and will not split.

Unless you are using Envirobank’s orange collection bag, which already has bag labels attached. You can also download and print your own Drop’n’Go bag labels via your Crunch account and firmly attach them to your bags.

Envirobank’s orange bags and Drop’n’Go bag label stickers for your own bags are also available at our depots, stockists and select Drop’n’Go pod locations however, the stock is limited.

Step 2. Visit your nearest Drop’n’Go location and log into Crunch on your smartphone. Register your bags by scanning the QR code on your bag labels or entering the bag codes.

Step 3. Place your registered bags in the pod. Once we’ve counted your eligible containers, we’ll add your refunds to your Crunch account. There is a maximum of 10 bags per Drop’n’Go deposit.

Ready to print your own bag labels? Log into Crunch, download ‘bag labels’ and print them off. Make sure they are firmly attached to each bag.

You will receive a confirmation email confirming your deposit and then, within 7 working days, you’ll receive another email confirming the funds have been added to your Crunch account. From your Crunch account, you can redeem shopping vouchers and rewards, or cash out to your bank account using your Containers for Change scheme ID or PayPal account.
